MEMBER OF THE MONTH: BART KOSMALSKI

With great pleasure we announce our September Member of the Month as Bart!! Bart is one of the humblest and hardest working people we know, both in and out of the gym, and since he first joined us he has impressed the coaches no end.

Already an accomplished athlete when he joined Bart has progressed in every facet of his fitness. Stronger with a barbell, more skilled at gymnastics and with his engine coming along nicely Bart is often at the top of the whiteboard in classes! Combine his athletic ability with his infectious smile, a great sense of humour and a clear determination to be better in every way and you have one outstanding member.

Bart has become an integral part of the community competing in in-house comps, at our bootcamp events and putting himself into the mix for the Tribal Clash team. He even stepped up a few weeks ago and took part in the 59,000m row challenge, a real test of grit and determination.

We asked Bart:

What bought you to Saxon CrossFit?
I’ve practiced other things before joining Saxon like boxing, spinning, HIIT classes and one day I was browsing the internet and saw CrossFit training. I liked the look of it so I google the closest gym and so I found Saxon!
What’s the biggest change Saxon CrossFit has had on your life?
The best change is feeling. Thanks to people and training, my attitude towards the world is better, certainly after a spicy wod.
What’s your favourite thing about Saxon?
Definitely the community, there is always a lot of fun! Our events provide amazing emotions and the coaching team is irreplaceable. They are always well organized and with a good knowledge base. Good work guys!!
What’s your ideal workout?
With Aaron obviously.
I like strength workouts, with gymnastic stuff and throwing that bar after ground to over heads!
Describe Saxon in three words?
Fun. Painful. Satisfying.
Tell us something about you that the other members won’t know?
Like most of you know I am working as a groundworker since I moved to England. But before I moved I was a cook in Poland for 4 years.
